What does the committee do?
As a sub-committee of the IHW Board of Governance, the Institute of Health and Wellbeing Learning and Teaching Committee focuses on learning and teaching matters. It plays a central role in shaping the educational direction of the Institute by:
-
- advising senior leadership on learning and teaching strategy
- promoting innovative teaching practices and technologies
- supporting professional development, mentoring, and recognition of teaching excellence
- aligning institute goals with broader university strategies and regulatory standards
- reviewing teaching related proposals and initiatives before they progress to the IHW Board.
