What's involved?
As a ConnectU Mentor, you'll help new students feel confident, connected and supported as they transition to Fed.
Current TAFE and higher education students can apply. No previous mentoring experience is required, just a willingness to support new students and share your experience.
The program is designed to fit around your studies, with a commitment of around one hour per week for 10 weeks.

Develop leadership and mentoring skills
After you sign up
Mentoring will begin in TBC following mentor training and matching.
Once matched, you'll connect with your mentee(s) online through Vygo and help them learn about the services, opportunities and support available at Fed.
As a ConnectU Mentor, you'll receive a free Federation University merch pack valued at over $100, earn rewards throughout the program, and choose either a $200 Prezzee Voucher or $200 Study Success Grant when you successfully complete the 10-week program.
We'll contact you with training details and next steps closer to the start of the program. Make sure you include both your personal and student email addresses on the registration form so you don't miss any important updates.
