Get support from the start
Connect with an experienced student mentor who can answer your questions, share advice and help you make the most of your first semester.

What is the ConnectU mentoring program?
ConnectU is Federation's student mentoring program. It connects new students with experienced students who can share advice, answer questions and help you navigate life at Fed.
Your mentor is there to support you as you settle into study, understand what to expect and discover the services, opportunities and support available at Federation.
The program is free, flexible and takes place online through our student communities platform.
New TAFE and higher education students are encouraged to register. Whether you're starting your first qualification or returning to study, ConnectU can help you feel more confident and connected to Fed right from the start.
After you sign up
Once you're matched, you'll connect with your mentor through our online communities platform.
You can chat, ask questions and get advice throughout the program. Your mentor can help point you in the right direction, share their experience and help you make the most of your time at Federation.
