How we develop collaboration and external engagement in research

Collaboration and external engagement is a key component in our Researcher Capability Framework.

As a leader in global co-operative research, we create a research culture that supports partnerships locally, nationally and internationally. Our researchers build strong, lasting connections within the university and with industry, government and community organisations. These connections then strengthen research outcomes and extend our impact and reach.

We support our researchers to:

  • Identify and act on opportunities for collaboration, funding and engagement
  • Build partnerships with industry, donors, policymakers and regional communities
  • Manage intellectual property and commercialisation processes
  • Share research data legally and ethically with partners.
