Biography
Dr. Luiza Gonçalves is a Lecturer in Health and Physical Education in the IEAC at Federation University Australia. As an early career researcher she develops projects addressing teachers’ professional development and collaborative practices in education. Luiza accomplished her PhD in 2019 at University of São Paulo, Brazil with an internship at University of Limerick, Ireland. In the same year, she was the recipient of the AIESEP developing countries scholar award. Currently, Luiza has focused her work on collaborative practices in disadvantaged schools and the internationalisation of research. She publishes her work in high-quality Q1 journals in partnership with international scholars. Luiza serves as a member of the Editorial Board of the IJKHE - Taylor and Francis and as a reviewer of diverse academic journals in Health and Physical Education. Luiza’s work with professional development and collaborative practices can be organised into different categories:
