Book a computer for exams
Find out how to book a computer for an online exam or borrow a laptop from the Library.
If you need to use a computer to complete an assignment or access learning materials, you can drop into the Library and jump straight on any free device. You can also bring your own laptop and connect to the campus wi-fi. But if you've got an online exam coming up, it might be a good idea to book a PC ahead of time.
Do you need to use Respondus for your exams?
Lots of online exams at Federation are done through a program called Respondus. If this applies to you, keep in mind that you won't be able to use your phone or tablet. No desktop computer? Book a Respondus-enabled computer at the Library.
Need to borrow a laptop?
You can borrow a laptop for up to three days. To get started, visit the Library and speak with a librarian. You’ll need to sign a laptop agreement and log in before you leave so we can make sure the device will work for you at home. If no one has reserved the laptop, your loan will automatically renew for another three days.
