The Library supports research, education and our community – and your generosity can help us do even more. We welcome donations of books, artworks and financial gifts that grow our collections. Every contribution makes a difference. And as Federation is part of the Australian Government’s Cultural Gifts Program, your donation could come with a tax benefit.
What we accept
You can donate:
- books, audiovisual materials and print serials
- manuscripts and artworks
- significant cultural items that fit within the scope of our collections
- financial gifts.

How to donate
If you’d like to donate teaching, learning or research materials, please complete a Deed of Gift of Library Materials form (PDF 123 KB).
If you'd like to donate cultural materials, please complete a Deed of Gift of Cultural Materials form (PDF 128 KB) and a Non-exclusive Licence form (PDF 178 KB) (if applicable).
