What is an OHS incident?
An occupational health and safety (OHS) incident is any unplanned event at work that causes – or could cause – harm. In other words, accidents, near misses and hazards that might lead to physical or psychological injury, illness or damage to property. For example, a chemical spill, a suspicious parcel, exposed wiring or an unconscious person.
