Originally from Central Gippsland, Amelia has grown up with a passion for the arts and theatre. She has a particular interest in Shakespeare and Interactive Theatre. During her time at the Arts Academy, she performed in productions such as Neil Bartlett’s Orlando (Mrs Grimsditch 2), directed by Kim Durban, and Maxim Gorky’s The Lower Depths (Luka), directed by Bagryana Popov. She also performed in Mary Pix’s The Beau Defeated (Mrs Fidget), directed by Kellie Tori. Amelia was part of Company 25’s work A Seat at the Periodic Table, in which she developed two self-devised projects, marking the beginning of her writing journey.
