Open Day out at Federation University’s Ballarat campuses
Campus tours, live music, interactive information sessions, free food and family entertainment will highlight Federation University Australia’s 2025 Open Day.
Open Day is an opportunity for prospective students and their families to meet Federation’s world-class academics, student club and support representatives, along with current students and a broad range of business and industry partners.
Visitors to the Mt Helen Campus will discover a wide range of study options including nursing, science, teaching, allied health, sports science, arts, social work, community and human services, psychology, engineering and IT. The Camp Street Campus will showcase Federation’s Arts Academy with student performances and visual arts displays.
The SMB Campus will showcase TAFE courses offered through Federation, including agriculture, bricklaying, building design, conservation and ecosystem management, hairdressing and beauty, horticulture and cookery, bakery and hospitality.
Through connection to local industry, Federation continues to roll out its Co-operative education model, getting students work and world-ready with paid placement opportunities in a range of courses.
The 2025 Good Universities Guide rated Federation as the number one university in Australia for first-in-family enrolments for the seventh consecutive year and the top university in Victoria for social equity and student-to-teacher ratio.
Open Day will be held on Sunday, 24 August from 9.30am – 2pm at the Mt Helen Campus, 9.30am – 1pm at SMB Campus and 9.30am – 3pm at Camp Street Campus.
