Federation launches new campaign celebrating Ballarat pride and partnership

Federation University has today launched an uplifting new campaign that celebrates the connection between the University and the Ballarat community it serves.

We’re all with you in Ballarat shines a spotlight on the unique network that supports students – from lecturers and classmates to local cafés, footy clubs and future employers.

The campaign features local legends including University alumni Tim Bone, runner and mental health advocate Delaney Troon, the 165-year-old Ballarat Swans footy club and Gus the Golden Retriever.

Local locations include favourites Il Piccollo Gelato, 1816 Bakery, Sturt Street, Lake Wendouree, Ballarat Botanical Gardens, the home of the Ballarat Swans - Alfredton Recreation Reserve and the Mt Helen campus.

“Federation is proud to be Ballarat’s university,” said Vice Chancellor Duncan Bentley.

“This campaign is a celebration of our community – and a reminder that wherever you are on your education journey, Federation and Ballarat are with you every step of the way.”

We’re all with you in Ballarat also serves to celebrate the community’s role in supporting local students, said the campaign’s star and Arts Academy student Imogen Brown.

“I feel very proud to be a part of this campaign,” she said.

“The Arts Academy at Fed is where I have grown as an artist and person, and I feel so grateful for the opportunity to explore my passion and use my voice. I’m very excited for this campaign to celebrate all the wonderful things about the Ballarat community!”

The campaign will roll out across digital platforms, print, cinema, outdoor and community events. Keep an eye out for take away coffee cups at select Ballarat cafes too!
