Information for students at Fedliving

Find out how to use the Fedliving portal to manage your admin and explore the different supports available to students living on res.

If you're new to Fedliving – welcome. Delighted to have you. We know how daunting moving out can be. It's a big step. There's a lot to think about. But we're here to help you settle in, and we'll continue to support you throughout your time at Federation.

If you've been living on campus for a while now – fantastic. We hope you're enjoying the accommodation and everything that comes with it. Of course, don't forget to access our free services if you need them – maybe bookmark this page for future reference.

Using the Fedliving portal

The Fedliving portal is where you'll do all of your student res admin. You should log in regularly to keep on top of any tasks. Use the username and password you created when you applied for accommodation. (Don't worry – you can reset your password if you forget it.)

You'll need to use the portal to:

  • view and pay your upcoming fees
  • request a payment plan or extension
  • book short-term accommodation (if you're travelling for placement)
  • see upcoming residential events and programs
  • register for a guest pass
  • apply for a rental reference
  • purchase linen packs, myki cards
  • hire a bar fridge
  • submit a maintenance request
  • submit a Change of Licence Agreement request (for room changes or contract termination)

The Fedliving office is open 10 am–4 pm, Monday to Friday.
